I seem to be having a problem with my choice of color or paint in my chassis or under body coat. I had always use Krylon indoor/outdoor gloss pewter gray for my chassis color and under body color, here lately I would add a 2 or 3 coat and the paint would wrenkel like its to hot and I have used that in the past. I guess that I need to change my paint color or paints, what is every one using these days for chassis colors? and what type or paint.

For the modern chassis (Gen 6 and current) i use Tamiya Insignia White.
For earlier than that i have a variety of options in my paint stash- SEM chassis grey, MCW dove/chassis grey, Testors flat light aircraft grey. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

I've had nothing but trouble with that Krylon crap.
The bright red is the only one I've used that didn't crack and crinkle.
I tried spraying over duplicolor primer, that didn't help either. |
