$60 on Modelroundup? Wow. Bought several when they first came out at my LHS for around $30ish maybe a little less. When i heard that Ace was going to be making new decal sheets for these kits, i bought up what Mike’s had for about $23 each. His next re-supply stock cost almost $30 on his site, and now he doesn’t have any available. And the distributor for my LHS doesn’t have any.
Were they that limited to warrant this type of price spike? Are they the new Chase Elliott SS kits? I don’t seem to remember them flying off the shelves when they came out… but then again, the Chase kits were at Ollie’s for what, $10 at one point? _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Bought some when they came out and emailed Revell to make more with different decals but obviously they haven't done that.
Just got Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet decals to do a couple of them. |

Are those the Ace decals? Thought they were still showing as coming soon on their site. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Building another one of these kits reminded me how much I like this new version and wish Revell would release more of them.
Not only like all the updated parts but really like the chrome parts they eliminated and made them just plain plastic. Saves a lot of de-chroming hassle. |
