Hey all, was wondering what Tamiya color of blue would be best for the #96 Olympia Charger that Ray Elder drove? Brilliant blue looks good to match the pics, but we all know how old photographs can misrepresent. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Good timing on your question. I was looking at pics with Tamiya TS-15 blue and TS-51 racing blue but can't make a decision. Pictures vary with bright and dark so just don't know. |

I did a spoon test yesterday with all my Tamiya blues and a few MCW ones and i am really leaning toward brilliant blue. The picture featured on the listing on Mike’s Decals looks most like brilliant blue. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

In most of the images I have seen of Ray Elder's Olympia Beer Dodge Charger, the blue is a medium semi - metallic. The Racing Farmers team also kept their cars clean and usually dent - free. |
