Hello, again. Getting around to doing another one from my build bucket list with the Pist'n Lube Chev Monte Carlo. Using the re issue Bobby Allison Coke Chev which has stood the test of time except for the wheels and tires. The ones that came in the kit are the old MPC stock car tires. Using an excellent set from PPP. Anyway, the decals arrive with no paint colors for the interior. Decal placement I have found, but no decent color shots of the interior. Was it painted just plain white? Any help is always much appreciated. Thanks.

Interior was mostly semi gloss black, trunk spatter paint, factory primer and undercoat, and bare aluminum. Here are some photos my friend and member of the old board, Banjo's_02, took at Junior's original shop in Ingle Hollow:

Hello, Tom. Thank you kindly for the old photos of the car. And, the one of the rear I haven't been able to find.

Was that 1971 car saved? I'm asking because I have seen a photo of if with modern Goodyear Eagle tires on it, as if it were being restored. Does anyone know for sure? |
