You callin' me a liar? The car builder and I were laughing about this at the track tonight. Our track allows fabricated bodies and the roofs are pretty close between the tbird and the monte carlo. Wheelbase is the same so about the only difference is the nose and tail pieces. I made new ones to match the ones on the real car. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

LOL...sorry, Gator. No, I wasn't callin' you a liar; I just stated that it looked more like a Monte Carlo to me. It's one of them there "squarebirds", ain't it (late '70s - early '80s)? _________________ Jimmy McKinley

It's supposed to represent a "square bird" body style. When they ran it for the first time last season it even had a Monte Carlo after market nose on it with an added grill to make it look more like a T-Bird. This year they used the aftermarket Caprice nose and tail pieces. The actual car is Ford engine and chassis with the strut front end though. The body templates used to make the body was the car builder's usual Monte Carlo patterns. It does look an awful lot like a Monte Carlo.
