Gunna try and watch. Haven't seen the starting grid but if the front is filled with Cup drivers I'll turn on a Pawn Stars rerun or something else less stupid than the race would be. _________________ A Model, Like Life, Is What Ever You Choose To Make Of It! |

| Well, Trevor Bayne is on the pole and there are three full time Cup guys in the top 10. I think there are only 5 Cup guys in the race, Logano (2nd), Brad K (8th), Kyle Busch (10th), Harvick (13th), and Kahne (15th). Danica's 34th as she has struggled in both series all weekend. |

| I would love to see Brian Scott win here, starting 3rd. Class act, he deserves a win before inevitably getting the boot from Joe Gibbs Racing |

| Proof that anyone can win with a great setup and fast car. Bristol sucks though. And nobody worth a darn won. Poor ratings. |

Staying on my positive comments only......pre-race was great, the pledge, the prayer, the anthem and KC-135 fly over was good........ _________________ MK stock car build hints and many of my built models here........

Tonights race was better then the truck race, well kind of.....................
Once again, Jaylo proves that he belongs in the Nationwide Series more then he does in the Cup Series _________________ Throwing a helmet: Like pole dancing to NASCAR fans.

| I went on a date with my wife. Sounds like I didn't miss much. I thought about going but couldn't finance the trip in addition to Atlanta next weekend and Austin in November. |

Give that man a ceegar!
If they are not running for points and the championship in the series they are just leaches sucking money out and away from teams that really need it.
Same applies to start and parks. _________________ A Model, Like Life, Is What Ever You Choose To Make Of It! |

Once again I see to be in the minority because I thought it was a pretty good race. Drivers had to work to make a pass but not because of the dreaded aero crap. Cars could race side by side, door to door. Leaders had to work traffic. A little bit of the pushing and shoving is back. It's short track racing!
The secret is to DVR the race then watch it later. That way you can cut out all the filler and commercials, which makes up for at least 50% of the telecast. It takes me about an hour or so to watch a complete Nationwide race, and I can watch it when I want. We weren't at home last night and I watched the race this morning. No other way to go! |
