The 1990 Quaker State Buick Regal driven by Brett Bodine. The kit is the Snicker Monogram kit but the nose is a resin piece by board member bighoo. It looks great and I've included a pic with the stock nose for comparison. It was super easy to work with and lined up with the body and hood almost flawlessly. I only need a 1 coat of putty and some light sanding to the hood to get everything together. It's a really good resin and looks great. The decals are the Powerslide Quaker State sheet. Paint is MCW shamrock green, Testors white and Tamiya gold leaf.

SWEET build - great job with the nose conversion. Thought about building that one myself. Seeing yours makes me want to order the decals to get started.

Great job and I'm so glad you put the proper nose on the build. Like the stance as well.

What are some of the other buicks that ran this style nose? so far all I can find are the Quaker State, Raybestos, and Snickers. Looking for other options. I know Davey Allison did a Busch car with it too but any others?

A Chattanooga Chew and a cool looking Atlanta Falcons #56 car for a few races.

Stanley Smith interstate batteries was another Winston cup car. This body style was really popular in the Busch series, Harry Gant (skoal) Brett Bodine (baby Ruth) Bobby Dotter (old El Paso) Tommy Houston (roses) were a few of the drivers

The biggest challenge is finding decals for the late 80's Buicks. There are planty of these that ran in either Cup or Busch, but it's challenging finding decals for any of them.
