Any recommendations for the blue on the nose of Blaney's championship Mustang?
I've compared the Salvinos kit decals to Tamiya Brilliant Blue, French Blue, and Light Blue but they all tend towards purple/red while the Dutch Boy blue seems a little greener/grayer?
Thanks for any recommendations you may have.
Model on! |

TS-93 Pure Blue tends a bit to the gray side to my eye. You might also try Brilliant Blue over their gray primer to kill a little of the strong blueness.
FWIW, it's been reported that the decals are considerably darker than the actual car appeared. |

Thank you, Tom. I was looking at the Tamiya blues again last night after your feedback and watching the Netflix series, and I like your idea about Brilliant Blue over gray primer. |
