What's a good blue for Dave Marcis' 1990 Chevy?

Most of the places I've looked said that you should use French blue. However, when I looked that up, it looks way too light. And the 1/64 scale diecasts vary in blues for cars from 90 and 91. I've also seen shots of his car next to Richard's where it seemed like Dave had a similar blue, only slightly darker.

I don't think I ever saw that car in person but just based on photos I think TS-44 Brilliant Blue would be close.

Take it for what it's worth, but I did a Dave Marcus years ago using JNJ decals. I'm sorry but I don't remember the sponsor on that car. I'm thinking there wasn't one, but that was years ago. Anyway, they recommended the old Model Master French Blue paint. I've got two sets of Blue Ridge Decals for the Abilene Boot/ Big Apple Market car. They recommend Model Master Blue Angel Blue.

I do still have the Rust-Oleum brilliant blue I used on the '85 Wrangler car so I'll probably use that. Thanks for the help!

you could always just paint it black and silver and do the Childress car with the same decals.
