Hi,
I have a problem on a Slixx Sheet, the stripes cut in several pieces, I passed a layer of microscale liquid decal film hoping to solidify them, it works a little better.
So I applied a layer with a brush on the entire board, except the # 52 which are Silver, do you think there is a risk of discoloration on these silver parts if I pass the Liquid Decal Film.
But my main question is:
Once the decoration has been placed on the whole model, think there will be a reaction if I use Clear 2K, Decals burned
On the other hand, is there a specific period with the quality of the Slixx decals, what years of production are problematic?

I just recently used some early 2000s SLIXX Cartoon Network decals. I got lucky with only a couple small tears. I'd coat them and be safe. It's known that inks dry out, glues breakdown. Why chance it with 27 yr old decals. I'd use an acrylic clear as well. I still have 2 bottles of Future or whatever your equivalent is. A little less shine is a good compromise vs trashing a paint job and decals.

Thank you for your answer, actually it's wiser to do as you recommend, My Future Floor is called Klir, I have a little left in a bottle but I don't know if he's going to hang because the model has been cleared with 2 k to be able to lay the decals(blue is metallic to be cleared;I used Dupli color)
I will try this.
A few years ago I cleared small parts of Monogram, Wetworks (I guess Cartograf) and JNJ decals; everything had kept well.
