This car began life as an '08 Kasey Kahne #9, of which I had a duplicate (see below). Left it in brake fluid for about a week to get the paint off. I used Nick Thames' (Redline Designz) resin nose and a lot of putty. Also extended the rear quarters. Sorry, I don't have any pre-primer pics as I didn't really intend to do a WIP thread until now. Once I get going, it's hard to stop Mr. Green . To get the yellow wheels, I had to mask and paint the factory black wheels white then yellow. Here is what I have so far:

It just got its first coat of Testors Metallic Blue (I hope it looks right) and I'll post more pics after paint. Thanks for looking!! It means a lot to me!

So here it is after 3 coats of paint. Not my smoothest paintjob, but a helluva lot better than anything I've ever gotten in the past with Testors paint and worlds better than I was expecting. Decals will cover most of the blemishes. The blue is a little dark and muted because of the gray primer, but I think it'll look good.

Can anyone attest to the amount of bleed through with Winscals? I only bought one sheet and am just wondering how bad it will be.

Thanks!! Enjoy!!
