hey y'all, finished this one up last night. Revellogram kit with Powerslide decals the decals were the older version with the white underlays. Tamiya florescent orange and pure white. used wheels, headers and exhaust from Jim Rodgers. wasn't really happy with the paint job i did or how the yellow decals ended up looking, i shoulda lightly sanded the paint separation lines... all on me. what i did like was the stance, it is low and mean like a race car should be, not looking like a sports car.

NOT the 1989 Daytona 500 version, found a pic on the interwebs from Martinsville and tried to go after that look with the contingencies

That's a great looking model and you're correct about the stance, looks very aggressive.

Very nice! Always love a Tide ride. I have the Powerslides for this one and Ricky Rudd's #5. Looking forward to building them. Your paint choices are perfect.

Kit piece. Soaked in the purple stuff to get the “chrome” off it then painted flat black.

Nothing special. Wink
