This is my Wes Model Car corner modified with several of the Hurd Hobbies parts to go along with it.
It's a 2019 "ish" version of Tim Brown's modified that ran at Bowman Gray Stadium. These kits do need some modification to look more like the real thing but can be built box stock and still look very nice. It does help to have "some" knowledge of these cars. I added some aftermarket stuff and several pieces of Hurd Hobbies parts to this build to add to the "realism". Decals are from Hurd Hobbies, contincgency decal sheet and STS Decals did the valve covers for me. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful - love these modified kits. Looks great. Like you, I like the detail parts from Hurd Hobbies. They really add to Wes’ kits. |

I just looked at the Hurd Hobbies page, is their stuff resin or 3D printed? Prices are very inexpensive, was wondering about the quality _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

3D Printed. The kits are not cheap but the parts that he has on there are cheap. His stuff is very detailed but very brittle. You have to handle the parts with even more care than plastic but they add a very nice touch to the Hurd Hobbies mods. _________________ |

I left a comment on the Short Track Forum, but I'll say this. This model looks better every time I look at it, and that's been at least twice daily since it's been up. Absolutely a great job! _________________ "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it is not the fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau
