So, I built a version of this car well over a decade ago to give to my dad and I decided that it was finally time I have one for my own shelf. I started with a Monogram Kyle Petty Peak kit and went a little wild trying a lot of stuff I'd never attempted before. I don't know if I'll ever detail a car this much again but, since Rusty is my all time favorite driver, I knew it would be a fun challenge for a special car. The decals are mostly Powerslide.

Nice job - looks great. The roof rails are a nice added touch. |

I watched the wip on this. Its always nice to see a build come to fruition. Especially this one that looks so good. Excellent job putting this one together. |

Not sure how I missed this one. Great job with it, a favourite of mine. |

I'm very glad that Dave commented on your post, bumping it in the Showroom listings. Lovely build. I have added a reply to the build commentary (thanks for the link - I am hoping to confirm the Rustoleum green you used - it's perfect).
I just want to add here that I really like your shop floor diorama. That is a very nice touch, and the car looks great in that environment. |
