Is there any way someone could contact Salvinos about maybe releasing a kit with 2 or 3 Busch Series engines? I've not been able to find any resin ones but I know they existed at some point. |

This won't happen.
Cutting a new tool is costly, even at this size, with no payback would not be a good move.
Try to get a 3d printer/designer to produce one. _________________ << On The Bench --- 2022 Elliott Hooters |

Makes sense. I've got a friend with a 3d printer. Might look around to see if any designs exist. |

Did all the GM cars use the Buick V-6 or did some use the Chevrolet?
I have cut down V-8s on Monogram/Revell kits since they are 1/24th scale. By the time you wire them, and put the air cleaner and other parts on, it is hard to tell. |

In the early 90s John and Trae Larkin resin cast the ASA Ford and Chevy V6s. I sold the last few I had a couple years ago. The Buicks ran Buick V6s as per Tom Mooty. Tom is factual. We were having this very discussion on Facebook a couple days ago. Tom pointed out a company called Race Ready Replicas mastered a Buick V6 starting with an Indy car Kit. None to be found nowadays. If you search for the Larkins offerings, the name of their business was "Trae and Dad". Hope this helps. _________________ life is hard, it's harder when you're stupid. John Wayne |

Race Ready Replicas used to do them, I have a Ford V6 still and it looks great. |

Prior to about 1990 the GM cars generally used Buicks. Chevy started developing their own engine in '88-'89 but they didn't really make inroads on the Buicks until around '90. Race Ready Replicas cast the Buick back in the day, I think I may have one left. |

I have two of the Larkin Ford V6's and one of the Indycals Buick V6's. I was thinking about making a couple of the Buicks for a couple of Indycar builds that I'm thinking of doing. I have recast parts in the past for myself, but I'm now thinking that 3D printing is the way to go. Since I've got zero knowlage about computer programs for making files I'd have to get someone to to do the files and printing for me. |
