Hi all.

Has anyone built this Army 2004 car but just not posted in Showroom? If so, two questions.

The quality of the decals, how solid is the paler colours over the black painted body? They're printed by Cartograph so I assume they will be good.

And the upper grille decal, how it fits into the 2004 Monte body? Straight onto the grille, or first that area must be puttied over?

So looking at the kit I completed in 2008, I painted the body gloss black (rattlecan) and the decals went on with no color bleed through.

And as far as I recall, there weren't any issues with the front grill decals as well. The decals all went on well and produce a really nice looking car. Better than my skill level at the time.

I took a look at the pictures I took at the time with a pretty crappy camera and it looks pretty good. If needed I can take some pictures later this week with a much better camera.

Let me know if you need more information.

Doug

Doug.

Thanks to reply.
Good to read on no colour bleed and to post more photos? Absolutely.👍

Myself, I'd like to see the decal joins around the roof rails and of the grilles, how the decals lay into them.
