I be got a touch of paint overspray and some masking tape adhesive on my kit windows. Any advice how to remove either of these? I’m sure any thinner or solvent will cloud the clear plastic

Brother, Take this advice for what it's worth as I don't know how bad your window is covered. Just yesterday, I got a very little bit of paint, just a few "dots" for lack of a better word, on the windshield of an '81/'82 NASCAR T-bird that I've been piddling with. I took a clean brush and lightly dipped it in a brand new bottle of Testors paint thinner. Lightly brushed it on the window and immediately wiped it off with a clean, damp cotton cloth. The dried it. Presto, no more paint and no damage to the windshield. Good luck

Most finishing polishes should do the trick. I've used polish to remove scratches and imperfections on kit windows before.

I use a Q-tip with paint thinner with no adverse results.

DO NOT USE LACQUER THINNER!

Sometimes you can pick the paint off with a toothpick and then use some novus polish to get it clear again. But that might only be with acrylic paint.
