Is there anyone resin casting Nascar Monte Carlo bodies, especially the 1977. Prefer ones mastered from the Revell snap kit as I can use the early Monogram kits for a donor. Thanks

Seems like SMH did one prior to JR Salvinos effort, it's not currently in the catalog though. You might contact them about it to see if they have plans to do it again (if indeed they ever did one at all).

I didn't find one on Mike's decal site either.

It's a little work but you can convert a street version.
It was a snaptite wheels of fire kit.

Thanks for the responses.
Didn't think of SMH, I'll call Ronnie tomorrow.
As for the snap-tite kit, I would need 5 or 6 for the project I have in mind. They have gotten expensive, if they would reissue them, I would go that route. I have modified one per the SAE article if all else fails, get it cast. I appreciate Salvino JR getting involved with our hobby, but was disappointed in their Monte Carlo.

Unfortunately that kit evidently got left behind in China during the Revell bankruptcy. eBay examples are listed for $70-$100+. That body wasn't perfect either, the C-post was thick and square but it was MUCH better than the Salvino's.
