Hi, just started to build the 2022 Mustang of joey 's and was wondering about chassis paint, are we painting the chassis or just using the kit colour's as is?

I don't paint mine and it looks fine to me but I also put the window nets in, glue the hood shut and put them in a AMT plastic display case so all you see is the outside. |

My Fords will get paint on engine, headrest, roll bars visible through windows, window net, dash, rear deck, wheels. Mine get cased after build.

I'm a plastic modeler, I paint the parts you can't see.
And SWMBO got me a t-shirt that says exactly that.

I left everything oob on my last Camaro. Just painted the dash ,switch box and watermelon I added. I also painted the wheels gunmetal like they recommended. And the body was polished and futured. |
