Just completed my original Monogram kit of Tim Richmond's 1986 Folgers Monte Carlo. I prepped the body and sprayed the Tamiya Gold and Model Madter Flame Red Lacquer right over the bare plastic. I used a set of Powerslide decals. Had issue with getting the windshield placed, still not happy with that.

Looks great - the exhaust dumps look spot on. Did you modify the kit part or use after market? where did you find the flame red paint - use it on my Schrader folgers lumina build but haven’t been able to find any more. I think it’s a great match for the folgers cars.

I cut the kit exhaust pipes and added aluminum tubing. As far as the Flame Red goes, it was a can I had in my stash that I used. Wish I could find more of it as well.

Beautiful, that fire red jumps off of the screen! I was a Tim Richmond fan.

Edit, flame red
