I just got an open kit today that I bought on ebay, windshields cracked. Is there any way to make a repair that won't show?

No way to repair that I know of. If it were me,,and it was, I would fabricate a new one from clear plastic. When I did mine I used a piece of plastic from a package (I forgot what it was) but the plastic was crystal clear, flat and plyable. I used my cracked one as a template. I slowly, carefully bent it to conform to the window frame size. I used tape and spray paint to tape off/paint my window trim. And luckily it turned out even better than the original. I make most of my side windows this way because I hate the little dimples they put in them for the air intakes. Here is a pic, its the rear window. Hope your car works out.

That looks great - one question - how did you secure the window in place?

You can get that from anywhere. Toy packagaing is a huge source to get flat, clear material for making windows. My daughter used to get Barbie dolls for birthdays and Christmases and that was gold for me when she would throw the boxes away. So the next special occasion when you're around kids, see if you can snag the leftover boxes Cool

You guys ever forget you posted something? Embarassed It's a 70 Cuda, I think I'll try making one and see how it goes. Thanks for the tips and the offer Rocketman. Not to sure how I'll secure it though. May end up with a mess on my hands.
