Buddy Baker's 1973 Dodge Charger. This was my first attempt at the Polar Lights Charger kit. It was a fairly enjoyable build. I'm not happy with the fit of the back lower piece below the bumper. But it was a learning moment for next time. Thanks to DaveVan for the tips. Paint is Testors brite red. Kit decals that were a little challenging. They didn't want to stay in one piece.

It's such a simple paint scheme but it looks so good. Banjo, Aj Foyt and others ran the redish-orange paint but I think it looks the best on the K&K Chargers. I miss single color chassis and body cars. It looks so clean.

I didn't do a ton of modifying. I sanded the tops of the rear fenders down and cleaned up the front grill area a bit. The interior and stance is box stock. The aluminum areas on the body are bare metal foil. The close up pics in the sun definitely draw out some of the flaws but overall I'm happy with it. It'll look fine on the shelf.

looks really good. First time I see one of these PL Chargers. Is the chassis a pretty good representation of a race car?

Pierre Rivard: I'm not sure. I'll leave that to the guys here with more knowledge of 70's NASCAR.
