Don't know if this is the right area to ask this question but maybe someone will answer. We all would like to build models like Clay Kemp (some of his model are just mind blowing) but I have tried to make and in stall some braided lines on my builds but the ends keep braking off, what am I doing wrong? When I finally got some on my motor, I couldn't in stall the motor the lines where in the way, so I have to pull them off. I wish Clay would do some videos on installing the braided lines, I keep looking to see if he has up loaded new videos every day.
I maybe on all this, and that this is not the right area to post this.
Thanks |

When i do braided lines, i put some sort of glue on the end so it doesn’t fray too bad, and i also tend to use some sort of fitting. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

I've tried, and like you, not much success. I use a simple chrome looking elastic braid from a craft store. Drill a hole, glue it in. I use thread like fishing line for smaller hoses and paint it with Molotow. I just paint the ends to simulate AN fittings, but no reason you couldn't slip aluminum fittings on. It's super flexible too. I know it's not exactly the same as real braided line. But as the saying goes, "It works for me!"
