While on a very long motor home trip my wife suggested I find a hobby. I jokingly stated that I built models when I was a kid. I was hesitant, paint, glue, mess, smell ect., but she convinced me to try. In the wonderful city of Corpus Cristi I purchased a Revell 68 Dart. I brush painted everything without primer and had some decal and parts fitting issues. Everything seemed the same as when I was a kid, except the price. It was a complete box build except for using fluorescent orange paint. Unfortunately it was crushed moving the slide ins, along with a Christine that I had just completed. I managed to save the wheels and tires for a 58 Edsel I built latter.

Nice work and welcome back. They both look great, Edsels have always been a favorite of mine. I've also recently returned to our hobby after a long hiatus.

I’m a big fan of the Edsel. I have a 58 Edsel gasser that’s half done. Hope to get it posted soon.

Nice work! The Edsel is the kind of car I find irresistible. Late '50s-early '60s mostly stock with just some nice wide wheels and tires.

I’ve enjoyed my return…especially since I discovered the world of after market decals.
