Very nicely done!!! My favorite T/A racer.
My first new car was a '71 Javelin SST. My dad was helping with the insurance on the car and would not let me get an AMX. _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010 |

That is an awesome model, well done! Great looking 1:1 Javelin DaveVan. My wife had 1969 AMX when we were dating in high school. Great car. _________________ "Many men fish all their lives without knowing it is not the fish they are after." Henry David Thoreau

Wow!
These cars had so much style and the extensive modifications, detailing and scratch building add up to a fabulous build. _________________ "When you arrive at a fork in the road, take it" - Yogi Berra |

Wow! I've got the old Johan Javelin kit in my stash to do this car but, haven't had the time to devote to it. Seeing what you have done has me thinking again about it. I've been wondering what to do with the chassis as everyone knows what the Johan kits were like. That has been a stumbling block for me, whether to look for donor stuff or just build out of the box.
Yours look amazing. |
