DK: It's a beautiful day for racing here in the good old north state and the 9 drivers of the Fantasy Cup Series are about to go racing. Hello again, everyone. I'm Dave Knight alongside Darrell Waltrip, welcome to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Winston 114 at the Roval.

DW: Dave, we only do one road course per season and this one is gonna be a doozy. These drivers are gonna go right, they'll go left, but all of them are hoping to go straight to victory lane.

DK: Indeed, Darrell. And with that, we go trackside.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and remove your hats for our national anthem."

"And now, race fans, here with the most famous words in motorsports, let's hear it for our grand marshall, Kellie Pickler."

KP: Drivers, start your engines!

Green Flag

DW: Boogity boogity boogity! Let's go road course racin'!

DK: And A good jump by pole sitter Linda Lou Godlewski. She'll have a smooth run through the first set of turns. A bit further back, the 46 of JR Sealey got a little push from Sheldon Hatterfield's 17 Ford. Sealey to 5th.

DW: Dave, Wild Bill just made a heck of a move on the inside of turn 4. Now he's got his sights set on his wife.

DK: The Godlewski family, separated by a few car lengths. Linda with the lead and she'll increase her lead by a couple more as Bill has a mirror full of Sans' Heinz Chevy. As the leader works her way off turn 8 and onto the oval. Not going to be challenged as she makes her way through what are normally turns 1 and 2 but today are 9 and 10.

DW: And that lead's gonna hold at about 4 car lengths. Wild Bill finally got clear of Sans but things can change real quick when they reach the bus stop.

DK: And Linda Lou negotiates through that portion. She's running like a slot car.

DW: And Wild Bill managed to hold up the 57. He's gonna open up a bit of a gap on him now. And if there's anywhere you wanna be clear, it's there and the final chicane.

DK: Linda Lou Godlewski works through that fina chicane and will lead the first of 50 laps here at Charlotte.

Lap 13

DK: JR Sealey makes a huge move on the 57 of Sans. He's gonna pick up the 3rd spot out of turn 5. He'll hold that inside line into turn 6.

DW: And back up front, Wild Bill's been reeling in the 56 car. He's gonna be makin' a move to the inside of...

DK: Trouble, in turn 3. The 11 of Tim Wallace and the 17 of Hatterfield collide. Hatterfield looks like he wheel hopped a bit. He barely clipped the 11 but it was enough to send them both around.

DW: And Dave, we were about to come up on green flag stops. The pit window opening up in about the next lap or so.

Lap 18

DK: And we're back underway at the Roval. 4 tires and fuel across the board for the field but Linda Lou Godlewski lost a few spots due to the fuel can getting caught and Bill Godlewski leads JR Sealey and it looks like Wild Bill was playing close attention to the start of this race as he has a nice advantage over the 46.

Lap 29

DW: Linda Lou just made a huge move on Sans at the bus stop. She's been keeping the pressure on for about the last 10 laps and he finally slipped up and went wide.

Lap 39

DK: JR Sealey has closed the gap on Bill Godlewski as they make their way across the line and into the first turn. He'll make a move. Godlewski slams the door but not without getting loose.

White Flag

DK: And we have one lap to go. Sealey has stalked and pressured the 72 of Wild Bill Godlewski. He's going to try again on the inside. Godlewski goes wide. Sealey to the lead between turns 2 and 3.

DW: But Wild Bill ain't letting that one go. He's right there.

DK: They approach turn 4 and Sealey goes wide. Godlewski back to the lead! And as if these 2 cars are carrying magnets, Sealey draws right back up to the 72. It's a 2 car train through the next 2 turns. Sealey not leaving the bumper of Godlewski. They make their way through turns 9 and 10. To the inside goes the 46 down the back stretch. They come to the bus stop. Sealey on the outside, Godlewski on the curb. They touch! They're sideways but they gather it up with Sealey getting the advantage. Godlewski loses a car length but maintains position with no pressure behind from the 56. Sealey leads through turns 13 and 14, He'll approach the final chicane carefully. Godlewski makes up a little ground but it's not gonna be enough. Razorback wins the Winston 114 at the Charlotte Roval!

DW: And that's 5 of the last 7 road courses that a Razorback Motorsports driver has won.

1. 46 - JR Sealey
2. 72 - Bill Godlewski
3. 56 - Linda Lou Godlewski
4. 57 - Sans
5. 5 - Lee Loggins
6. 23 - Keith Wallace
7. 14 - Ken Wallace
8. 11 - Tim Wallace
9. 17 - Sheldon Hatterfield

DK: And with that, we conclude today's event. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Dave Knight. Thank you for joining us and we'll be back on the dirt at Eldora for the Fifth Third Bank 153.

Rough day for Brew Dog Motorsports. Road courses are not our strong point.
But we'll have a few beers and be ready for next week.

Good points day for the L.A.P. 1 racing Ford. Hopefully this good momentum keeps up.
