They all can build a nice looking model IMHO. I think the R/M has better detail and probably a little more user friendly than the AMT for an inexperienced or newer modeler. But like I said, just my opinion. _________________ Would love to have time to finish but I have kids:

Moroso Olds (done, FINALLY!!!)

I grew up building AMT models in late 50s-early 60s so always have a soft spot for that brand. However built models from AMT, Revell, Monogram, Johan, Moebus, Polar Lights, Palmer , Aurora and others. No favorites now. If they make a car etc I ant to build I am fine with the manufacturer.

Built them all, grew up on AMT and Johan kits. But I do favor the Revell/Monogram NASCAR kits over the AMTs. _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010 |

The old Monogram only race kits I thought were the best race kits.
I like Revel Monogram for race kits but I prefer AMT for stock street car kits. |
