DK: And we're all about to have a lot of fun as the Fantasy Cup Series goes dirt racing for the 2nd time in 2022. Hello again, everyone, I'm Dave Knight. With me as always is NASCAR legend Darrell Waltrip and welcome to the Riverside International Speedway in Arkasas for the Tyson 100.

DW: Dave, I've gotta say that the great thing about this series is the balance between paved and dirt tracks. Different strokes for different folks and with these drivers coming from such different backgrounds, it kinda levels the playing field.

DK: Indeed. The gumbo clay is primed and ready and now we go trackside for the opening ceremony.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and remove your hats for our national anthem."

"And now with the most famous words in motorsports, give it up for our Grand Marshall, award winning actor, director, and Arkansas native, Billy Bob Thornton."

BBT: On behalf of everyone in the great state of Arkansas, drivers, start your engines!

Green Flag

DW: Boogity boogity boogity! Let's go racin'!

DK: And a huge start for Linda Lou Godlewski. She got a good jump on the 14 of Ken Wallace and is out of turn 2 with a car length advantage. She'll hold serve through turns 3 and 4 to lead the first lap at Riverside.

Lap 12

DK: And we've got a car in the wall! It's the Heinz machine of Sans. Not sure what happened there, DW. It looks like a tire went down.

DW: Yeah, Dave, he couldn't even turn at the end of the back stretch so that's clearly a right front tire failure. Heartbreaker for the 57 team early on.

Lap 39

DK: How about this move? The number 5 Ford of Loggins making a huge move to the inside of the 23 of Keith Wallace and the 46 of Sealey. He'll take over the 4th spot.

DW: The 72 of Wild Bill got a huge run too. He was stuck to Spud's bumper.

Lap 67

DW: Uh oh, Dave, we've got a slow car at the line.

DK: And that's the 11 of Tim Wallace. He got into the wall out of turn 2. Lost a bit of momentum but doesn't look like there's too much damage on the right side of his Ford. He slips back in line behind Sheldon Hatterfield.

Lap 77

DK: What a battle we've got for the lead, DW. Linda Lou Godlewski and Ken Wallace have been swapping back and forth for the last 10 laps.

White Flag

DK: One to go. Linda Lou Godlewski has been plagued by the 14 of Ken Wallace all race. They come through turns one and 2.

DW: Oh no! Wallace got loose!

DK: And he snaps back into Godlewski. The leaders are out of the race. Heavy damage on the 56 and 14. The 5 of Lee "Spud" Loggins squeezes through on the outside as the caution flag comes out. Loggins slows going into turns 3 and 4 but he'll be the first back to the line to win the Tyson 100 at Riverside!

DW: A last lap crash, a last lap pass, and last lap cash for the 5 team.

DK: And here's the final results.

1. 5 - Lee Loggins
2. 72 - Bill Godlewski
3. 23 - Keith Wallace
4. 46 - JR Sealey
5. 17 - Sheldon Hatterfield
6. 11 - Tim Wallace
7. 56 - Linda Lou Godlewski (Out)
8. 14 - Ken Wallace (Out)
9. 57 - Sans (Out)

DW: Dave that 14 team's had more headaches this year than a Goody's powder can cure.

DK: And with that, we conclude today's event. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Dave Knight. Thank you for joining us and we'll see you next week for the Winston 114 at the Charlotte Roval.
