finished up today! gonna be a home bar decoration for a friend, will be delivered tomorrow afternoon. hope no one gets loaded and knocks it to the floor...
lowered the rear by cutting the springs, lowered the front by drilling out the mounting pin holes in the front end and then gluing the wheels on. think it could still be lower and the wheels pulled in a bit more... maybe on the next one. my first attempt at adding a splitter too, used the optional nose piece from an AMT Impala (the one earlier nose that connects with the braces) as a template for sheet plastic. decals and detail decals from Powerslide. paint is MCW fleet white and dark blue. chassis and cage is Testors flat light aircraft gray. and yeah, I know it's the 2014 markings on a 2017 Fusion, but I dislike the detail level of the snapper that it's supposed to fit on.
thanks for the look, and any comments... _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Nice looking model! I like the white wheels on this paint scheme. Great job! I'm really considering building a modern Cup car. I keep seeing all these nice modern builds like this one and I may have to give one a go. Thanks for posting and keep'em comin!'
