I about flipped when I saw that Patto did the decals for this car, as building a Jocko car has been high on my wantlist for a very long time. He's from Poughkeepsie, NY, which is literally the next place north of me. I drove by his race shop hundreds of times without knowing it was his race shop until it literally blew up due to a gas leak circa 2005. Naturally I had to order a copy of the decals and build it as soon as I could, and I built it last year. Also, my NASCAR by the Numbers project is generally not set in stone- if I build another car I like more, or I build one with my current skill set that's better than when
I started out, I'm not averse to replacing the car that represents that number...not the case here. This car is set in stone at #63, since it's the only car of his that can be built properly.

Monogram kit, Patto's Place decals, Tamiya white. All the blue and red is decal.

Getting the nose decals to fit was a bit of a challenge.

Very cool Billy. Did you have to paint the stripes?

Well done! I had forgot all about that name and racecar until I saw this. Great build!
