I have the Salvinos 1983 AJ Foyt Monte Carlo and it has a cracked rear window. Contacted them a week ago and have heard nothing. Anyone else attempt to deal with them on a similar issue?

They'll make it good. Maybe hit them up with another email, sometimes they get busy and don't get to emails every day.

Think they'll replace a newly cut molded parts tree that has more flash than Gordon???

Thanks. I sent an email and was able to attach a picture of the cracked window. Hopefully that will help.

Got my window replaced along with an envelope and their address and a note saying to "send a $10 bill to Rick". Nothing was ever mentioned in our emails about me paying for a replacement. Wow.

Pleasantly surprised by their customer service. Had a minor problem with a Petty car and they sorted it out with no charge.

Much better than Moebius after I bought a Tim Flock Hudson kit - sealed box - with no decals or wheels. Told me to look for aftermarket deals on the internet.

Salvino's replied to my email about the $10 charge and said they had me mixed up with someone else who had broke their window. Nice to clear that up but still..... Guess mistakes can happen.

I've purchased Salvino's kits twice where a part was missing. Rick at Salvino's made it right both times, no charge. Very positive experience with their customer service.

Funny follow up to the rear window replacement. They sent another one! Have no idea what's going on but feel a little sorry for them spending the money and time doing this.

Salvino's customer service is pretty good. I messed up a chassis and roll cage on one of the Donnie Allison kit and asked if it was possible to just buy the parts without having to buy a kit. They said sure just give us 10 bucks to cover shipping and we'll send them out. Can't complain about that.

There are pros and cons to dealing with a company that is operated by just two or three people. If you know how, you get to talk to someone who can fix your issue but since there really isn't a system in place it can be hit or miss. They've grown very quickly and they will need to step up the service side of the business.

That's odd mine was missing one of the head light lenses, the bag was sealed, they replaced , with an apology on taking so long to reply.
