Absolutely top notch replica of a beautiful race car.
I love what you have done for all the metallic parts (bumpers, wheels etc) to make it all look so real.
Congrats!

And you did this with no polishing and clear using duplicolor ? Amazing job. If I had done that, it would have been a flat blue and very grainey., Excellent work I applaud you for your skill.

One of the best builds I've ever seen! Absolutely beautiful! Stance, paint, decals, and details are perfect! Photography is excellent as well. Loved the backdrop on the first photo! Checks off all the boxes. Very well done James! I still think that the Monogram Buick is one of the best nascar model kits of all time. You certainly did it justice and then some! Thanks for posting and keep'em comin'!

One question: I noticed the Hurst shifter. Is this aftermarket? I would love to have some of those in my stash if so. Thanks. Bobby

Very nice. I built Joe Ruttman's car with the yellow wheels. Great kit.

I wanted to ask but forgot, how do you do your tires? They look great.

Thanks, after sanding them sidewall and all, I wipe them down with lacquer thinner, then I clearcoat them with a lacquer gloss, put the rims in, add decals, then again gloss clear, (masking the rims) then use black craft paint for some weathering, then a flat clear over everything.
