.... this is a non-detailed replica of the 1970 Camaro RS funny car owned and driven by "Jungle" Jim Lieberman ... it was built explicitly to display the controversial paint job showing "Jungle Jim" and "Jungle Pam". Revell, the US based model maker, was the primary sponsor of this car and they took a lot of heat for authorizing their name to be used on this car ... especially as their products were sold primarily to youngsters ... The big stir about the paint job caused Revell to require the car to be repainted or they would have to terminate their sponsorship.

Jim Lieberman and Pam Hardy .... always a controversial duo wherever they went.
