Modified 1936 Ford. I did see LeeRoy drive
this one. Maybe 1960, coming out of the fourth
turn the front tire/wheels fell of. I was setting in
the grandstands next to LeeRoy's female cheering
section. Such screaming out of 20ish aged young women!!!
The 0, 59 & 99 I posted earlier were for the most part were
pure "stock", but the 22 was for sure a modified with Pontiac
V8 power. The number was (probably) not a random choice.
LeeRoy's hero was Fireball Roberts who ran the #22 most
of the time and was driving Pontiac's in the late 50's/early 60's.
AMT 36 Ford body. Bigdonkey wheels/tires.
LeeRoy never worked other than driving race cars. But from the pants
he's wearing looks like he was doing some house painting.
