Hi fellas --
I tried search but didn't find anything so I thought I'd ask:
Is there a build tips post for the Petty and Baker Polar Lights Chargers?
I'm building a chassis for a fantasy car ('78 Dodge Monaco) and using the PL Charger. So far so good but my experience is mainly Monogram kits from the 80s and another handful one or two each from MPC & Revell.
Also, any tips for getting more focused search results? I either got no results at all or results for every post on the site haha.
Thanks for any help! |

The body of those Polar lights kits was widely panned, but the chassis isn’t too bad. Roll bars are kinda thick and the tires suck, but I just built one to go under an old MPC Richard Petty Road Runner body and I’m pretty happy with it. |

That's exactly how I built this:

That is still one of the coolest model car photos I have ever seen. |

Very nice stance. Mine is a little high in the back, but I called it a day. |
