I have been working on the new Salvino’s Le Mans kit and got it up on all fours tonight. I did not have to shave or adjust the chassis to get it to sit like this. The glass fits in beautifully from the inside of the body. I’m very pleased with the kit. |

Nice work I looked over mine and was wondering if you have any problems with the fitting of he roll cage. Looks ok. |

I didn't. I was prepared to do some fiddling to get the roll cage up higher in the body but that was unnecessary. |

Glad to know. I have heard so many bad things about these kit I was a little afraid to start them. I'm not an expert my any stretch of the imagination but the one I've built have been pretty good. I built the flat nose MC and it went together just like any older Monogram kit. Going to start the Lemans soon, doing the 83 Daytona winner. Would also love to do the Tim Richmond Lemans. Your work looks really good so far. post finished photos please. |

Clearly the negative hype about these kits is greatly exaggerated.
Well done. |

There is a roofline issue, it bothers me. That is simply my thought, not right or wrong just how I see it.
Builders who take some time to make sure everything fits are coming up with some great results. Steve’s build is proof of that, I hope my builds come out as clean. |

I thought I'd have to "hide" the roll cage bars like I did with the 2+2 but on this kit they are high enough in the body so that's not necessary. |
