Almost 40 years of building and this is my first completed Richard Petty build. I used the Salvinos 83 kit with the vermilion decals. Other than lowering the ride height it is built straight out of the box.

Thanks. The finish is Axalta 2 part clear.

Always a winner having a Petty car in the collection

That stance looks very nice and authentic for sure.

Great finish on that model, love it

Was the red on the back of the car decal as well? I can't see any seams and it looks crazy difficult to get the decals to lay around the compound curves of the bumper cover.... Cool

It's all decal. It took quite a bit of work to get the decals to lay down right on the bumpers. I did cut them down into smaller pieces to help negotiate the corners.
