I am still new to this but I have heard this phrase in a few different post. I googled it but was wondering what exactly they are. Is it a brand or type of decal? I have seen it mostly on Richard Petty model pictures. Any insight is appreciated. |

Salvinos JR models have released decals in the “vermillion” colour to eliminate having to paint the fluorescent part of their Petty STP kits. |

IF Salvino's ever does the '71 & '72 Petty Plymuths, I would be interested if he does the vermillion decals for those, or would they be too big?
Would or could the '71 & '72 Plymouth sue the same body?
Just curious..... _________________ Ed. K |

Rick told me all of the Petty kits produced from that Point would have the Proper Vermilion Decals for the car, and most likely all future releases as well. I have several of the new release 1/25th scale MC and Olds 442 kits that have them and several without..

They are releasing a '73 Charger(Limit of a 5000 kit run), that will have the Vermillion decals, that will be in 2-3 parts so the curves aren't a drastic, just don't use "SOLVASET"on them, as it effects the metal in the vermillion. |

Marlonm33,
Vermilion refers to a type of pigment used for a specific shade of red. |

Bringing this up ... regarding the Vermilion decals, what is the best tried-and-true method of dealing with them?
Is Microset / Microsol ok to use with them?
thanks! |

Would it be possible for anyone to email me a copy of the vermilion decals for the 71/72 charger? |

PM me, I'll have a look when I get home, but it should be no problem.
I was going to use the '&6 ones myself to make a mask. |
