|
|
Hi all:
I'm starting on the Moebius Tim Flock 1956 Chrysler kit and the instructions call out Testors Auto Lacquer "Wimbledon White". Well, I've been looking all over online and I can't find it anywhere. I know the Testors/Model Master stuff is discontinued, but poof ! Seems to have vaporized.
Anyone know of a close rattle can paint that is close to this white for this car ?
Thanks ! |

Dupli-color still makes Wimbledon White according to their site |

Thanks !!
The interior door panels and seats in the instructions are called out to be in "Testors Model Master Radome Tan (FS33613) (i.e. a natural leather color).
Also coming up empty on finding this stuff anywhere now.
Any ideas on something close ? I'd prefer a rattle can to brushing large areas of the interior.
Thanks |

You might try some kind of desert camo sand color . _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010 |

Thank you. Paint applied over Tamiya gray primer. A white primer base might lighten the final color. |
