Anyone recognize the logo on the C pillar?

You might try and PM Rocketman. I believe he did a detailed build of this a while back.

Unfortunately I do not, it wasn't on the sheet I got from Mike's that I recall.
I believe I relied more or less on on this photo and do not have on my c-pillar

It reminds me when I was looking for this small decal on Dale Earnhardts Cardinal Tractor Ford. It was also on the c pillar. I know this isnt that but maybe an uddated version of it? I know the picture of her car is Daytona and not Charlotte. But it must be one of those one of a kind decals that was hardly ever used.

It was on all of her '76 rides so I don't think it's an underdog logo.

I thought that car pictured was in 1977? I looked through my 1977 umi book and didnt see anything like it on other cars either.

Here's a better shot of the logo. It was only on the early '76 cars.

It appears the logo has 2 flags at the top and maybe an R and M, but I cannot tell for sure.

I thought it kinda looked like a castle with 2 lookout towers with the flags like you said at the top of the towers. I also thought it had an R and an M. She's probably the only driver with that decal on her car. Just make the decal like you see it. It will be so small you wouldnt be able to make out what it is anyway. But at least youll have it on your model and nobody else will.

If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it correctly.

I did a search for R&M industries and there actually was an RM industries that started in 1976 but then there was nothing more about it. There were a couple more R&M industries . One had to do with fishing tackle and fishing in general. But I could find no logos that looked like the one your trying to find. good luck.

Kudos to Paul Aleman who found this in Petersen's 1977 images (I was poring through the '76 pictures). Facebook member Brian Boone deserves thanks for putting the question out there on the modeling group page.
