Not sure which kit you reference. The Mercs were Rangoon Red and black. |

Yep, Rangoon Red. The exact same color/mix is called Carnival Red on the early '60's Mercury charts. Apparently most manufacturers did this as I remember the Dodges and Plymouths in the early '70's had the same paint# with different names.

For the 1961 Pontiac there was a color called Coronado Red that appears to match the photos pretty closely. |
