at one time I had started to acquire parts to do that, started with an AMT Barretta and Lumina Nascar kit...project became just another lost effort and found its way to the scrap heep.

If I were to do try it again, I'd probably try grafting the 2 bodies together, but it's gonna be a project thats way over my head, good luck with yours.

That's what I was thinking ... I have a beretta and a amt lumina...the rear deck lid on the beretta is smalller than the lumina. Thanks for the suggestion .

The Beretta was never approved by NASCAR for Cup or BGN; it was just too small and required too much stretch in both width & length. The car shown was driven in ARCA by Lee Raymond. ARCA also allowed the Chrysler Lebaron body; one was driven by Bob Kesolowski. Of course, no one in NASCAR was running MOPAR's then anyhow.

Not saying it can't be done but that body is for all purposes a Pro Stock body altered to fit the tubbed drag racing chassis. At one time I had one of those, one of the Amt stock kit bodies, a Monogram and an Amt Lumina all on my bench, just couldn't see a way to make it work. I think someone with better skills than me could do it.
