Hi Guys, First time post and my 1st nascar model, Im from New Zealand and need some assistance please. Im building the 1984 Pontiac of Tim Richmond and would like to know the following, what colour is the interior? Black or Red? Also what colour were the pontiac engines? Red block or all aluminium?? Any help or guidance is much appreciated.[][/img]

When I saw the car the chssis was red......but in that era the chassis could be ANY color. If they bought a chassis and pushed it into service and not painted. So the only color I saw in person was the same body color.

I've seen it in red and black. As far as I know the engines were aluminum but don't quote me. Someone far more knowledgeable will be along soon. Wink

If you are using Tamiya, TS-8 over grey primer will get you close. The chassis was typically body colour.
