Some progress on this Salvinos JR kit.
Rough bodywork stage, I thinned out the wheel openings and the small side windows. Also sanded the side window openings to be more straight,
I moved the fuel filler to the passenger side since that’s how it was on this car

Just a few more things and a lot more sanding and it will be in primer lol.

Pretty happy with the kit so far
My only complaints would be about the chrome it’s almost impossible to sand off the seam lines and attachment points off it Would be nice if they also included an unplated bumper sprue in these kits
And on the body the front window trim on the side is not very pronounced I had to carefully rescribe around the window trim.
And the rear spoiler has ridiculous ejector pin marks right were the bolt details are. Will have to scratch build a new one.

Base colors painted, I’ve sanded this with 3000 grit to eliminate any edge from the masking, That’s why it is dull, now it’s ready for the clear coat
Also the inside of the body will be painted black I just brush paint that though.

Beautiful job on that tricky two-tone paint scheme!

Jings, mon. That's a tight and tidy bit of body work. All the way round and all the way down.
