While digging up some old NASCAR build pictures to re post in the Showroom I stumbled across this build I did a long time ago. I ended up selling this one not long after I built it. Kind of crappy old pictures, but you get the idea.. Box stock with kit decals, but I did remake the grill decal because I didn't like the kit grill decal. I don't remember what exactly I didn't like about it.

Love those 70's Funny Cars! Very nice! _________________ Modeling Planes and Space, then Drag Racing, then NASCAR were my favorites over the years and lately back to planes and space!
WIP Skylab... as I see it if it had all gone as planned! |

Great looking build!
Those were the days when you could actually tell what car a Funny Car actually was supposed to represent! |

For a while after what I think was referred to as the "batmobile" body style came out (Kenny Bernstein) I didn't follow the drags much but then things evolved a little bit more and live coverage came along I started watching again and I like it ... just can't beat the sight and sound of a 10,000 hp fuel car running down the track!!! _________________ Modeling Planes and Space, then Drag Racing, then NASCAR were my favorites over the years and lately back to planes and space!

But you still cannot beat the pounding you feel in your chest as a top fuel or funny car fires up close by at the track! |

I built this one a long time ago. I don't remember what blue I used. I do remember that I tried a few different ones before I settled on the one I did used.
