Drywall joint tape is a good starting point.

I used one of the Plastic Performance Products nets for my Torino build. The set includes various styles, including the net that has a wide strip about 3/4 down. They have some flexibility to them so you can get a nice 'sag'

I tried the masking tape method, excellent tutorial and super easy to do. I did a trial net to see if I could. From laying out tape to a quick coat of spray took me about 1/2 hour, I couldnt believe how simple it was to do. Thank you to the person that posted that tutorial above me. I now want to build a grid system so the netting comes out even next time. I will be doing this to all my cars from now on Very Happy.
