I don't know how many of you saw it but Salvino's will soon have the Proper Color Vermillion colored decals for the Petty Olds and 80 Monte Carlo and the Pontiac 2+2 that will soon be available will have the Vermilion decals available as well and he said they will be doing these decals for all the Petty cars. Plus he sent me some paint masks for the cars listed below.
Baker Olds
Bobby Allison Ranier Monte Carlo
Junior Johnson/Cale Yarborough Busch Olds
Baker Monte Carlo
Richard Petty 81 Monte Carlo
Richard Petty 83 Monte Carlo
Richard Petty 86 Monte Carlo
Richard Petty 79 0lds
I will be happy to forward any of these to anyone that wants a copy. I also will be preordering the Vermilion Decals for the 79 Olds and the 80 Monte Carlo which I will list on my website for anyone to buy....
If your like me and hate masking these are GREAT...

Do you know if they are going to correct the roof stripe on the Petty 2+2?
The 86-87 vermillion stripe did not extend all the way to the rear glass. it stopped a few inches short of the rear glass and had radiused corners.

Power slide decals have the blue trim extending to the back glass.

This is the only roof shot that I could find. For such a minor gap I think you already know the answer to your question.

No I do not know, but if it doesn't, it looks to me to be an easy fix for the builder.

It takes a good eye to catch that stripe variance. I am not sure it changes the look of the finished product.

I think spazzysam might have some pretty in depth knowledge of at least that car in particular.

Wow! I have never noticed that. Wonder the reason for not going all the way to the window.

I'll take all of the paint masks if you don't mind. salhany@gmail.com

I'm excited for the Vermillion decals, while I don't mind masking and such I think it will make the Petty cars much easier to build.
