Great build . I remember the brief tire war with Hooser tires.. NASCAR said Hooser had to produce tires for all the teams even though most teams had contracts with Goodyear. This caused the smaller tire company to bail out because tires would go to waste. Tires are made with different compounds for different tracks. Only about 4 or 5 teams ran them . It was that old NASCAR rulebook "blank page quick rule" to stop the complaining and stopped what was a fun time in the sport ! |
