The color is too bright, but Junior Jackson's whiskey runner turned dirt sportsman. Stock Amt kit with parts box wheels and tires, homemade window net and decals.

Nice looking car Gary.....it's really amazing how nice you guys can make a HEMI starter motor look and that is the primary use for FORDS isn't it...LOL
Really a nice looking build you have to show us some more...

The color of the real movie car was Ford Nightmist Blue metallic. By the way where did you get the steelies from? Any idea what kit they came from?

I'm pretty sure the fender logo reads "9 Pound Hammer" It was the song he was singing along with in the chase scene with the law men

If it is, well, I got as close as I could trying to freeze frame the dvd.

I just got this kit and will be doing the car as before it was raced. Using Tamiya deep metallic blue which is a close match for the original nightmist blue.

It's more or less the Amt kit built out of the box, and I made a roll cage out of plastic rod and made the window net. The tires are from a Mpc super stocker.
