Since all of the old builds were wiped out, I figured I'd re post some of my old builds when I have time, in no particular order. I'm limited on what I have uploaded in my ImageShack account, but I'll add more builds to it in time.
I hadn't really posted any builds for quite some time before the site went down and really hadn't built much in the way of NASCAR for a while. Got a little burn out on them. The down side to re posting old stuff is I really don't remember much in the way of details as far as paint, decals ect.

Here's my AK UNDERBIRD

Very well done. Crazy how the different angles make the oranges of the paint and decals appear totally different. Thanks for posting.

MPR, two questions:(1) Is that orange paint or decals? (2) Are you making decals for this build or have some left? Great build brother very sharp and clean Very Happy

The orange on the lower body is paint, I'm pretty sure it was Testors Racing Orange. The decals are a mix of the Powerslide sheet and an old Slixx Loy Allen, Jr. sheet. I used Powerslide sheet for everything but the "Hooters" for the hood, quarters and TV panel. Those are from the Slixx sheet and are more florescent and better matched the orange paint I used on the lower body. I saw this car run many times and the orange was very bright in the sun. I was going for that look.
